Our Origins
Founded in Faith
Adi-Shakti Anant Matth Trust was established with a singular vision: to create a living sanctuary where the ancient wisdom of Sanatan Dharma is transformatively illuminated with AdiShakti- the Supreme Divine Mother's Benevolence. The trust is established to bridge the gap between the modern day world and Ancient Wisdom to enable people to Understand Spirituality, Bhakti and Devotion from the lens of Science, Philosophy and beyond, and to unearth the All-encompassing Truth. The Trust was born from the deep spiritual conviction that the Divine Mother — Adi-Shakti, the primordial energy of the universe, the source of all creation, sustenance, and liberation can heal, bring together, nurture and alleviate human and all living life's suffering and guide seekers to path of ultimate truth, oneness with the world and eternal peace.
From its humble beginnings, the Trust is on its way to become a Global Force with rapidly growing devotees and truth seekers from all walks of life, from young children, youth, women and men who have come together to spread the joy, truth, essence of Sanatan Dharma and worship the Divine Mother and unearth the truth and divinity that exists all around.
Spiritual Lineage
A Living Tradition
The Trust draws its spiritual lineage from the ancient Sanatan Dharam Tradition from the lens of Shakta tradition, tracing its roots to the sacred texts of the Vani of Vedas, The Vani of Divine Avatars, Divine Worship of Shiv, Shakti, Shri-Hari, Devi MahaBhagavata Purana, the Devi Mahatmya, and the Sri Vidya Kula. Our teachings honour the DashaMahavidya — the ten great wisdom goddesses — as manifestations of the one supreme Adi-Shakti.
Our lineage has been transmitted through an unbroken succession of realised sages, ascetics, and Ishwarya-Roopa Gurus, with Shri Dakshinamurti Shiva (the Guru roop of Shri Shiva) being the first Guru of our lineage, and the sages who followed and dedicated their lives to the study, practice, and selfless work for the propagation of Sanatan and Shakta Vedanta. Each generation has added to this living tradition, ensuring that the flame of devotion and knowledge burns ever brighter. We bow down to our Guru, the Shiv-Like light that shined on us, the eternal master with complete knowledge of all the Ancient Indian Scriptures, Comparative spiritual context of Sanatan with all other religious ideas and a deep work in identifying similrities and wisdom in all pursuits of seeking the divine- Shri Swami Shardanand Giri Ji Maharaj of ancient Shri Dakshinamurti Matth, Varansi and our Pujya Peetamabara Maa's Grandfather an enlightened Saint and Revered Spiritual Soul, 1008 Swami Swayam-Prakashi Ji Maharaj who walked on earth to spread unconditional love, wisdom of Oneness-in-all, and breaking down all the social dualities to spread truth of oneness, of Braham Gyan.
Our Revered Guru
Pujya Peetambara Maa
Pujya Peetambara Maa — Our Revered Guru
Recognised at just three years of age by her revered grandfather, Pujya Sant Swayamprakashi Ji Maharaj, as a gifted soul destined to carry forward his spiritual legacy, Pujya Peetambara Maa's life has been dedicated to the path of Sanatana Dharma and the upliftment of humanity.
After completing her foundational modern education at an early age, Pujya Maa travelled to Kashi to study Vedic philosophy under the guidance of Swami Shardhanand Giri Maharaj, where she was initiated into the sacred Shakti-Shiv Parampara. She also pursued academic programmes and qualifications at prestigious institutions in India and abroad, bringing together traditional spiritual wisdom and contemporary learning.
Even before ascending her grandfather's sacred gaddi, Pujya Maa dedicated herself to humanitarian initiatives, embracing cutting-edge technology and modern approaches to address human challenges and create meaningful social impact. Her work reflects her conviction that spirituality must extend beyond personal enlightenment into compassionate action and the service of humanity.
Today, Pujya Maa continues to carry forward Sanatan Parampara through her teachings on Mahadevi, Krishna, Shiv-Shakti, Consciousness and the timeless wisdom of Sanatana Dharma. She bridges ancient knowledge with modern understanding, inspiring seekers to deepen their faith and discover a more meaningful relationship with the Divine.
For her devotees, Pujya Maa is far more than a spiritual guide. She is revered as an embodiment of the Divine Mother's grace, a source of strength and inspiration, and a guiding light on their spiritual journeys. Through her wisdom, kindness and continued dedication, she carries forward the eternal legacy of Sanatan Dharma while illuminating the path for generations to come.
